REV. POTHTHEWELA VINEETHA THERO, the Chief incumbent of Kolonnawa Buddhist Centre, The Principle of Kolonnawa Terrance N. De Silva Maha Vidyalaya , The Secretary of Sasanarakxaka Authority Board of Kolonnawa Eastern Area, The Hon. President of Samatha Mula Mandala and The Hon. Patron of Buddhist Association in Kolonnawa Petroleum Cooperation has been appointed as the Western Province Secondary Sanghanayake.


The "SUGATA crew" is wishing the chief monk all the best in this happy moment and to have courage, effort and good health to work to the society and help the needy too.

The ceremony was held on 4th July 2010 at Kolonnawa Purana Raja Maha Vihara premises. The distinguish guess attended was MP. Mr. Chamal Rajapakxa the speaker of the parliament. The many other venerable and layman guests were also attended.
